A reference Pokemon isn't just why I like Evolve; there's a lot more to talk about, like the gameplay. A team of monster hunters have to find and kill a monster that been terrorising foreign planets, they are equipped with different "kits", though these make the gameplay more teamwork based than just "Oh, cool I have a sniper rifle..." For example; the medic is the backbone of the team, with a medgun and a sniper rifle, that instead of damages and n0scope$ the monster, it exposes weakpoints in the monster's armour for your fellow teammates to shoot. If a friendly gets K.O'd, you can just easily revive them with your medgun from a range, instead of having to go upclose, in danger, letting your guard down while you put down your weapon and pull your teammates up. The medic class also has a meburst; a burst of health to heal multiple friendlys at the same time, the medgun only can heal one person at a time, but it is more efficient and accurate. You are also supplied with a tranquiliser gun, once you shoot the monster, it slows down and you can see it through surfaces, only for a temporary amount of time, though.The support class is like the medic; but instead of healing you teammates, you give them a shield; an extra long health bar with your shield ray. You still are equipped with a personal defence weapon, the laser cutter; it is just the same as a regular gun, though. You have a team invisibility cloak weapon, which makes your team invisible for a while, perfect for an escape or to stealthily follow the monster. Air stikes can heavily damage the monster, but you will need it to stay still for 5 seconds or so, the support really helps people; a medic and a support class are near to invincible.
